In late November RSMU professors of the Department of Prosthetic Dentistry and Orthodontics Tatyana A. Vasilieva and Oksana A. Layt paid a working visit to Samarkand State Medical Institute (Uzbekistan).

Within the framework of the academic mobility program RSMU representatives gave a set of lectures and practical classes initiating dentistry students into anatomical and physiological features of the dental-jaw system, specific properties of preparing teeth for porcelain, metal-ceramic and metal-plastic crowns and much more.

Then, on top of that, RSMU professors held master classes and were able to share their experience in treating patients with various nosological forms of dentition pathologies.

We express the will to develop further cooperation with SSMI and thank our Samarkand colleagues for the hearty welcoming they always give to our professors and students.
