RSMU professors are involved in a variety of national and international research projects collaborating with leading academic teams. The main research interests of the Department of Pediatrics are prevention, recognition and treatment of childhood diseases. Recently Natalya A. Belykh, Dean of the Faculty of Pediatrics, Head of the Department of Faculty and Polyclinic Pediatrics, has paid a working visit to Samarkand State Medical Institute (Uzbekistan). N. A. Belykh took part in the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Achievements and Prospects of Modern Pediatrics" presenting a report on the up-to-date issue of childhood obesity. Within the framework of the academic mobility program Natalya Anatolyevna gave a course of lectures on the discipline "Faculty Pediatrics".
