In late October the conference «Modern Approaches to Preventive Work with Students» was held at Ryazan State University.
Experts touched upon such up-to-date issues as the use of psychotropic substances, extremism and terrorism, AIDS, financial fraud, information security etc. They also discussed ways to prevent students from the harmful impact of the above enumerated phenomena.
Mariya Gordova, RSMU Vice-rector for Extracurricular Activities and International Issues, acting as an expert at the round table discussion, presented the instructive experience of socio-cultural adaptation of foreign residents who came to study at University. It should be mentioned that RSMU experience was recognized by the participants of the conference as an effective means of forming anti-terrorist consciousness of students and was recommended to use region-wide.
