The third Meeting of the Association of International Students of Russia (AIS), the Interior Ministry Main Migration Directorate and Border Guard Service of the Federal Security Service was held on the basis of Russian State Geological Prospecting University. The event was attended by the representatives of Rossotrudnichestvo, the Public Chamber, the Association of Leading Universities of Russia, the World Graduate Association and employees of more than 70 Russian universities including Ryazan State Medical University migration officers A. Yazykov and T. Likhacheva.

Migration problems of foreign students in the Russian Federation and prospects for their solution were the main topic of the meeting.

Speeches were given by AIS President Adu Yao Nikez, Rossotrudnichestvo representative Dmitry Guzhel, President of the World Graduate Association Vladimir Chety and Deputy Head of the Federal Migration Service in Moscow Grigory Mironov. The representatives of the Border Guard Service of the Federal Security Service spoke in detail on the rules of border crossing.

It should be noted that the participants of the event came to the conclusion that migration issues of foreign students remain acute and come in the way of Russian education export.
