On June, 10 the Federation Council held a meeting dedicated to Ryazan region issues. Head of Regional Clinical Hospital D. Hubezov, Minister of Health of Ryazan Region A. Prilutsky, Deputy Minister of Health of Ryazan Region V. Khominets and Head of Regional Clinical Hospital named after Semashko L. Sorokina represented the region, among many others.

Topical issues of social policy implementation were the main discussion point. The meeting covered the prospects of the region development in general and the improvement of its healthcare and social welfare in particular. The participants also discussed the construction of a new oncologic dispensary building and a bedroom block for elderly and disabled in-patients.
