Kira A. Ageeva, an assistant of the Department of Infectious Diseases, and Ilya V. Panin, an assistant professor of the Phthisiology Department, went on a work trip to Bukhara State Medical Institute and participated in the International Research and Practice Conference “Modern Technologies for Diagnosis, Treatment, Prevention of Infectious and Parasitic Diseases”. Professor Ageeva`s report “Complications in Etiological Diagnostics of Encephalitis” was awarded with a 1st degree diploma.
Both professors gave Uzbekistan students lectures and training classes on their subjects.
The RSMU delegates met doctors of Bukhara Regional Infectious Diseases Hospital, payed a visit to Regional Oncology Centre, exchanged experience with the personnel of the Department of Infectious Diseases, Epidemiology and Dermatovenerologic Diseases, the Department of Otorhinolaryngology, Oncology and Ophthalmology, the Department of Microbiology, Virology, Immunology and Phthisiology, visited Model Training Centre, the Institute`s Museum and Avicenna Museum.
The professors are more than satisfied with their foreign teaching experience and both Bukhara State Medical Institute and Ryazan State Medical University hope to develop their cooperation.
