Last week MD, PHD Dmitry N. Atochin from Cardiovascular Research Center of Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School gave a lecture in RSMU.
The audience was diverse – cardiovascular surgeons, biochemists, morphologists, medical students.
The lecture was dedicated to experimental studies of the role of nitrogen oxide in cerebral blood flow regulation in healthy transgenic animals and ones with cerebral crisis and was followed by a talk about Harvard medical School and peculiarities of medical education in the USA.
The discussion of the presented material took about an hour which demonstrated genuine interest of the audience.
Such events of international level give the university opportunities to establish scientific ties with world`s leading universities like Harvard Medical School.
