Russia-Japan laparoscopic colorectal surgery practical course with the participation of the best specialists of Japan, Ryazan region and other regions of Russia took place on February, 21-22.
Experts from the University of Nursing and Health Sciences, Oita, Japan demonstrated the technique of complex surgical interventions to their Russian colleagues.
The meeting started in Regional Clinical Hospital where Minister of Health Andrei Prilutsky, Rector of the Ryazan State Medical University Roman Kalinin, Chief Doctor of the Hospital Dmitry Khubezov made welcoming speeches to the guests.
On the first day of their stay the experts made reports on topical issues of colorectal surgery with direct broadcasting of laparoscopic operations.
On the following day Ryazan and Moscow postgraduate students performed laparoscopic operations in the RSMU training operation room WetLab under the supervision of the Japanese colleagues.
Cooperative training is a mutual experience exchange aimed at improvement of treatment of oncological diseases. This kind of cooperation is widely used all over the world.
