The Head of the International Department, Gordova Mariya, has successfully completed the 4-day course “Essential Skills in Medical Education”, held by AMEE, an international association for medical education, and Sechenov University.

This ESME course provides an introduction to the basic competencies required of the medical and healthcare professions teacher. Through a series of short presentations by Prof. Trevor Gibbs and small group work, the highly interactive course looks at specifying and using learning outcomes, the range of teaching, learning and assessment methods available to the teacher, and how the learning and assessment can be organised in the curriculum.

After completing the course, all the participants were awarded with certificates of completion.
