On February, 14 Ryazan State Medical University welcomed Iranian delegation from Yasouj University of Medical Sciences (YUMS). The delegation members were Chancellor Owrang Eilami, Vice-chancellor for education Sadrolah Mehrabisisaht and Zaker Salehi, the Head of International Department.

During the talks the sides discussed the cooperation in the field of education, joint research programs, pharmaceutical production and medical tourism.

The guests outlined that they chose RSMU because the city of Ryazan and our university have much in common with the ones they represented.

On February, 15 the delegation visited RSMU scientific laboratories, clinical bases and discussed issues of mutual interest with RSMU professors.

The two-day visit of Iranian delegation to Ryazan resulted in signing a memorandum of understanding between RSMU and YAMS.
