On February 25 and 27, as part of the Maslenitsa celebration, students from Russia, Tajikistan, Lebanon, Egypt and India attended master classes on pancake baking hosted by the chef from the Student Canteen at Ryazan State Medical University. These students proved that the saying "the first pancake is always a lumpy one" does not apply to them, as they were able to produce perfect pancakes under the guidance of the experienced canteen staff. The event culminated in a joint tea party, with freshly baked pancakes as the main course of Russian traditional cuisine.
