There was a meeting of the Governor of the Ryazan region Pavel Malkov with the students of our university. The event was attended by representatives of student associations, including international students.

Before the beginning of the meeting the students were greeted by the Rector of RyazSMU, Professor Roman Kalinin. He said “Today there are active guys in our meeting. For them there is an opportunity to tell about themselves and to ask questions. Nowadays our region is famous not only for our health care but also other developing areas”.
“It is always nice to talk to active youth, especially students of Ryazan Medical University - the pride of our region, one of the best medical universities in the country with high quality training, serious scientific school. Now we are doing everything to make the university development, we help Roman Kalinin in realization of big plans in improving the university”, - emphasized Governor Pavel Malkov.

Pavel Malkov answered students' questions about plans for further development of regional healthcare, youth and cultural venues, and sports. The students asked the Governor with what they could help in improving the healthcare system and volunteering.

Moreover, students told the Governor about the achievements of RyazSMU, the scientific structures and associations of our university, the activities of the Student Sports Club, medical teams and the International Friendship Club which was recently formed at the university.

At the end of the meeting Pavel Malkov wished the audience success. He also wished our students to find that one true path in their future career in medicine.
