Maslenitsa is an old-Russian festival to welcome spring and to start the Orthodox Lent season. The peculiarity of this fest is a tradition of making and eating blini - thin Russian pancakes. 

On this occasion the RSMU Language Exchange Club «Language Time» gathered international students for a thematic meeting, where club members shared their knowledge about Russian traditions and took part in Maslenitsa celebrations. The participants of the event played different table-games, shared their impression of Ryazan, plans for the future, professional goals and their hobbies.

During the meeting the delicious traditional meal was prepared and the guests were treated with pancakes(blini) and tea.
