Round University Ranking (RUR) is an international world university rankings system which measures performance of 1100 leading world universities from 82 countries by 20 unique indicators and 4 key areas of university activities: teaching, research, international diversity, financial sustainability.

Recently RUR Subject Rankings have been published, where RSMU was included in the category of «Medical Sciences» for the fourth time in a row and climbed up to the 385th line among all the universities included.  The University also took the 10th place in the chart of Russian universities represented in the ranking, which is 5 positions higher than last year's result. In the subject area of «Life Sciences» RSMU appeared to be number 55 in the Russian Federation. 

It should be noted that RSMU is also among Top 5 Russian universities in the area of «Teaching Activity». The university has finally consolidated its position in the Golden League of the ranking, taking the 168th place among all the world universities represented.

Universities included in the Golden league are equally strong both in education and teaching fields, with a focus on one of them. And are equally high internationalized and financially sound.
