An academic competition in Pathoanatomy was held at the Department of Histology, Pathoanatomy and Сlinical Genetics last week.

70 RSMU A-students and the most motivated listeners of the course took part in the competition. Unexpectedly two exchange students from Thailand wished to participate as well.
The jury consisted of University professors and pathoanatomists of the city.

The competition tasks were a test, diagnosing with the help of actual autopsy protocols and microscopicall disorder recognition. In addition, the captains of the teams had to take part in a special contest.

The General Medicine Faculty teams “Epithelioids”, “Arbor vitae”, and “Macrophages and rock 'n' roll” became the prize winners. I.V. Kochetov won the captain contest, and jury special diplomas were given to the exchange students from Chulalongkorn University of Thailand - Paddy Promchuakaew and Thunvalun Sasivimonpan.
