Both men`s and women`s RSMU teams became prizewinners of the sport competitions that took place on of October, 27-28.
Women`s volleyball team took the 3rd place at the Ryazan Cup competition.

RSMU women`s five-a-side football team beat Ryazan State University and Ryazan State Radio Engineering University teams and took the 1st place at the Ryazan Region Championship among universities and technical schools.

On the same day RSMU men`s five-a-side football team won Silver Cup for the 1st place at the “Russian Leather” championship and Fleury Bolla (Cameroon) earned “Best Player” award. There are more representatives of the Faculty of International Students who play on the same team. They are Stephan Choumessi from Cameroon, Ismael Idrissi-Janidis from Morocco, Emmanuel Ola-Peters Toba from Nigeria, Jeff Danso from Ghana, Firas Khamden and Marwen Hajlaoui from Tunisia, Khadzhi Khasanboev from Turkmenistan, Ikromhon Kadirov, Bekzod Mamatov, and Khaydar Khodzhakulyev from Tadjikistan.

All in all, over 2000 sportsmen took part in the event. As is customary, the football teams fought for Golden, Silver, Bronze and Veteran Cups.
