The faculty consists of several departments and a number of clinical units.
During the first few academic years students get familiar with their future job learning about formation and development of pediatrics in Russia and abroad and getting acquainted with main medical and preventive medical institutions and achievements of pediatrics.
5th year students are allowed to practise in hospitals. There is still a lack of pediatricians in Russian and Ryazan hospitals in particular that is why such specialists are in high demand.
