OFFLINE SUCCESS STORY

As a part of the University's “Success Stories” project a career guidance meeting was held for RSMU international students.

The speakers were Khassan Othman, an RSMU graduate of class 2021, an assistant at the Department of Human Anatomy of RUDN University, the Head of the Laboratory at the Department of Human Anatomy of the RUDN Medical Institute, and Dmitri Keri, an RSMU graduate of class 2020, a neurosurgeon and also a postgraduate student at the Department of Neurology and Neurosurgery named after Professor Y. S. Martynov (RUDN).

During the meeting the University alumni shared with the current students the secrets of successful study at University and gave valuable advice that could help everyone develop personally and professionally. "Don't waste your time just staying in your hostel room. Go to the simulation center, use the facilities of the library complex, ask medical staff in hospitals to stay with them in shifts. Learn Russian so that you don't lose a chance to communicate with doctors and patients that is provided during your practice. Don't miss any academic lessons and try to participate in scientific activities," they advised the audience.

Also, Hassan and Dimitri talked about the specifics of medical residency programs and unanimously noted that studying at our University provides excellent skills and lays a solid foundation for further professional development.

The meeting was held in warm and friendly atmosphere. We thank everyone for their interest in the meeting and look forward to seeing them at the next meeting, which will be held very soon!
