«FRENCH SPRING»

The annual festival of French culture was held in Ryazan Regional Library named after M. Gorky. The festival's topic was: «Stereotypes about France and the French: truth or fiction?» The participants spoke about French culture stereotypes through creative performances: showreels, stage miniatures, and songs.

Our University was represented by Kunjasheva N. with a charming song in French «Mon Mec a Moi» and Denisyk A., who made a presentation «Les Français et le repas» and told the gathered how much cheese and wine the French really ate.

RSMU 1st year French-speaking students of the Faculty of General Medicine appeared to be the most cordial audience at the event.

Also, other Ryazan pupils and French-speaking students from different Ryazan universities participated in the festival.

An interesting fact is that it happened shortly before the celebration of the day when the French-speaking international cooperation organization «Francophonie» was established.
