RSMU Student Win International Medicine Competition

IX All-Russian III International Scientific and Practical Competition for Students and Young Scientists in the field of “Disaster Medicine – 2022” was held in Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University. The competition included tasks on such subjects as “Life Safety”, “Disaster Medicine”, “Emergency Medicine”, “Hygiene of Emergency Situations”, for instance, questions about ways to prevent and eliminate natural and man-made emergencies.
The results of RSMU team “Finger on the Pulse” are more than impressing:

  • Andrey Evstigneev, Olga Barycheva and Ilya Narkevich (supervisor - Senior Lecturer of the Department of Disaster Medicine and Emergency Medicine A.Yu. Efratov) became the winner of the practical competition “First Aid”;
  • Elizaveta Filimonova (supervisor – Head of the Department of Disaster Medicine and Emergency Medicine N.V. Minaeva) won the individual all-around competition;
  • Ilya Narkevich and Olga Borycheva (supervisor - Senior Lecturer of the Department of Disaster Medicine and Emergency Medicine A.Yu. Efratov) took the second place the individual all-around competition.

All the students are members of the University Student Scientific Society.

Undoubtedly, participation in such like competitions develops creative potential of students and helps to expand and deepen their knowledge, as well as to realize oneself in the profession.
