RSMU FOIS Students Win International Quiz

Russia's cultural heritage is enormous and priceless indeed. Russian traditions and cultural life are made up of many things, drawing on a rich, fascinating and ancient history, strong ties to tradition and a vastly influential body of Russian art and literature. With varying traditions and rich cultures Russia’s popularity among international students is on the rise.

The Ministry of Education and Youth Policy of the Ryazan Region organizes international intellectual games for foreign students annually. In late November FOIS students Hromadski Heorhi (Moldova, General Medicine, 1 year student), Marufchoni Khaytali (Tajikistan, General Medicine, 1 year student), Salomova Sabina (Uzbekistan, General Medicine, 1 year student) Sodikov Asadbek (Tajikistan, General Medicine, 1 year student, Bashar Rizk (Syria, Dentistry, 2nd year student) and Mohamed Badavi (Syria, General Medicine 2nd year student) took part in the intellectual quiz among foreign students. This event brought together overseas students not only from Ryazan universities, but also from universities of Lugansk and Donetsk (Ukraine). The contest consisted of five rounds dedicated to traditional Russian cuisine, general knowledge about cultural heritage and current affairs. According to the results our students got into Top 5 Congratulations! We wish you success next year!
