RAEX Rating Agency offers an annually up dated list of Top 100 universities in Russia. This year over 180 universities from 31 locations all over Russia were evaluated. Following the list of Russia's Top 100 universities ranked by RAEX in 2021, RSMU appeared to be the 23rd.

RAEX Rating Agency assesses universities using performance indicators that carry a different weighting when calculating overall scores. These indicators are academic reputation, student-to-faculty ratio, research citations per faculty member, proportion of international students and many more.
