RSMU develops cooperation with «Abilimpix»

Abilympics is an international non-profit movement that is aimed to develop the Abilympics system of professional skill competitions for people with disabilities in the Russian Federation, which provides people with disabilities with effective professional guidance and motivation to receive professional education, promotes their employment and socio-cultural inclusion in the society. ​

RSMU and the Institute for the Development of Vocational Education signed an agreement on cooperation on implementing additional professional programs. The document was signed by the Rector of RSMU, Roman Kalinin, and the Head of the Abilympics National Center, Dina Makeeva.

To hold high level professional skill competitions among disabled people and people with disabilities, Regional Training Center for "Abilympics" Experts will be organized at RSMU Resource Training and Methodological Center.

It should be mentioned that RSMU received a diploma for the development of new competencies at the 6th Abilympics Professional Skills Championship earlier this year. The competence offered by the University staff will be included in the Championship program in 2021.
