STUDENTS FROM KAZAKHSTAN COME TO RYAZAN STATE MEDICAL UNIVERSITY

Rector of Ryazan State Medical University Roman Kalinin had a meeting with students from Kazakhstan who had come to study at University. The traineeship is organized within the framework of academic exchanges between our University and Kazakhstan State Medical University.

Ten 4th year students are going to stay here for the whole semester. It should be noted that this is not the first experience of student exchanges between the universities. Earlier students from Kazakhstan have come to RSMU but only for short-term traineeship and practice courses.

Right at the beginning of the meeting, the rector underlined that every member of the group was considered to be a regular student of the University: “We are happy that you`ve come. Long-term traineeship like this is a great opportunity to experience fully another educational system, to compare it with the one of yours, to see how students study here, what is different, what is better. We really want you not to be bored here, to do many useful things and have a great time”.

During the meeting some everyday issues were discussed. The rector advised the students to take an active part in the educational process and extracurricular activities, do sports and go on excursions.
